11 STRANGE POOLS

1. ALILA UBUD SWIMMING POOL - BALI, INDONESIA-

This swimming pool is floating above the Ayung River Valley in Bali's lush foothills.


2. THE ICEBERGS POOL - SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA -


The ocean's waves often break over the side of the Icebergs swimming pool located in the corner of the famed Bondi Beach. The fee is only 5 AUD.




3. THE NEPTUNE POOL - CALIFORNIA, USA -

It's different with Iceberg pool. To enter this pool, you must a millionaire. It's located at Hearst Castle and firstly it was designed for Willian Randolph Hearst in 1920.


4. THE JOULE POOL - DALLAS, USA -


This swimming pool is on 10th floor of Joule Hotel. It's located at Five Stars complex. Made by a famous architect, Adam D. Tihany.


5. SIMPLE POOL - ICELAND -

It's located somewhere in Iceland. If you want to swimming, you must go to the farm to get the key of this house.


6. SAN ALFONSO del MAR - ALGARROBO, CHILE -


The biggest pool in the world. It is 1013 m (3324 ft) and has an area of ​​8 hectares (19.77 acres), which is equivalent to 6000 pool. Water is pumped from the Pacific Ocean, then filtered and processed before it is supplied to the pool.


7. GELLERT POOL - BUDAPEST, HUNGARY -


Gellert Baths and Swimming Pool complex looks more like a cathedral than a pool. The famed Budapest's bath was constructed between 1912 and 1918 and it features chic Art Nouveau style. The temperature of water exceeds 40°C (110°F), so visiting the baths is a perfect way to kill the time on a rainy day.

It's a luxurious icon in Hongkong. This swimming pool is on 23th floor of Harbour Plaza Hotel. The swimming pool is in front of Victoria Harbour and has some views from a truly amazing skyscrapers countless in the city.


9. BADESCHIFF POOL - BERLIN, GERMANY -


Badeschiff or "bathing ship" is the most unusual swimming pool in Berlin. It is an old cargo container converted into a pool on Spree River. During the summer it is an outdoor pool with the beach, bar and DJs. In the winter the whole thing is covered, and a few extra saunas are added.


10. PHOENIX SEAGAIA OCEAN DOME - TOKYO, JAPAN -


The pool is located in the Pacific Ocean, Miyazaki, Kyushu (1500 km south of Tokyo).  The largest indoor water park in the world (included in the Guinness Book of World Records).
The roof using system that can be opened / closed (retractable). But although the roof was closed still can see blue sky and clouds, because the sky has a picture on its roof. The temperature is set around 30 degrees Celsius, and water temperature is maintained around 28 degrees Celsius. The pool is equipped with artificial waves, palm trees, sand, volcano, etc.
